SECRET TRACES is a poetry collection that recalls and rehashes the tale of a febrile summer affair between an adventurous writer and an ill-starred banker. In between empty bottles of rosé, covering up tracks, and their weekends in his marital home; Secret Traces is an exploration of a love that could have been (or, once was).
The poems in Secret Traces are autofiction – inspired from true events*– and seek to tell a story that is still taboo yet common in the queer world.
It is the second book of Stéphane-Robert’s Traces series, following Traces of Blue which was published in 2020.
